The Hazel Green Trojans the host Buckhorn Bucks softball squad by a count of 6-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Trojans (21-8) will now prepare for their battle against South Warren (Bowling Green, KY). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 13-0 record. In their last battle, South Warren nudged Male (Louisville, KY), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
The Bucks now sport a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Brooks for a non-league battle on Friday, April 5. Buckhorn will meet a Lions squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Central (Florence, AL). The Lions record now stands at 18-5.
