In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Covenant Christian Academy Lions softball team scored a nice 18-1 win over the South Lafourche Tarpons.
Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, LA) in a 1A District 7 outing, on Thursday, April 4. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 3-14 record after their 19-3 league loss to Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA).
The Tarpons (5-17) will now prepare for their outing against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Hurricanes enter the non-league outing with a 2-15 record. In their last outing, L.W. Higgins was routed by De La Salle (New Orleans, LA), 15-0, in a non-league outing.
