La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD), 10-2 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chopticon for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 5.

With the loss, North Point falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to battle the Rams in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 5. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
