The Marshall County Marshals softball team (Benton, KY), was routed 10-2 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY)

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) in a District 17 test, on Thursday, April 4. Madison Central will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Bruins come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, OH).

The Marshals (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Mercy (Louisville, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Mercy overcame Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 5-2, in a non-league test.
