The Bishop Watterson Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Columbus Academy Vikings to 4 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. Bishop Watterson will clash with a Fighting Scots team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH). The Fighting Scots record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Columbus Academy drops to 0-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH) to clash with the Green Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Green Bears go into the test with a record of 1-0. Ottawa Hills won 19-0 in their recent league test against Northwood (Northwood, OH)
