Nebraska High School Baseball - Blair sneaks past Waverly

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Blair Bears (Blair, NE) and the host Waverly Vikings (Waverly, NE), saw Blair's baseball team get by Waverly by a margin of 3-2.

The Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Norris (Firth, NE). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Norris held off Columbus (Columbus, NE), 8-7, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Vikings face the Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 4. Waverly will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Orangemen enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE).
