Illinois High School Baseball - Calhoun holds off Brown County

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) and the visiting Brown County Hornets (Mt. Sterling, IL), saw Calhoun's baseball team gain a win over Brown County by a tally of 9-5.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL). The Saukees enter the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Pittsfield held off Riverton (Riverton, IL), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hornets face the Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 4. Brown County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL).
