North Carolina High School Baseball - Pine Lake Prep wallops Central Academy

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Pine Lake Prep Pride baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Central Academy Cougars.
The Pride (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors enter the Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Mountain Island Charter was overwhelmed by Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC), 6-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cougars face the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A game, on Friday, April 4. Central Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 3-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Central Academy (Monroe, NC).
