The Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) baseball trounced the host Danville Vikings (Danville, IL), 8-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Storm now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Armstrong for a Vermilion Valley challenge on Monday, April 7.
With the defeat, Danville drops to 0-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL) to clash with the Cornjerkers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Cornjerkers go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Hoopeston lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridgeview (Colfax, IL)
