The Mountain Ridge Sentinels baseball squad (Herriman, UT), was edged 4-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA)

With the triumph, Gahr moves its record to 6-7 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Downey (Downey, CA) to confront the Vikings in a Gateway contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 12-7. Downey lost 17-6 in their recent league bout against La Mirada (La Mirada, CA)

The Sentinels (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region 2 bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Herriman edged West Field (Taylor, UT), 7-1, in a non-league bout.
