In Thursday's non-league game, the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks baseball team scored a close 18-17 win over the Sevier County Smoky Bears.
The Seahawks (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats go into the 4A Region 7 game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Bluffton was tipped by May River (Bluffton, SC), 12-8, in a league game.
Next, the Smoky Bears play the Morristown-Hamblen West Trojans (Morristown, TN) in a 4A District 2 game, on Monday, April 7. Sevier County will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 12-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN).
