Nebraska High School Baseball - Malcolm holds off Nebraska City

The Malcolm Clippers baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Nebraska City Pioneers to 1 in the Clippers non-league win on Thursday.

The Clippers now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Norfolk for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Malcolm will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Nebraska City drops to 3-5 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Falls City (Falls City, NE) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-7. Falls City won 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Holton (Holton, KS)
