In Thursday's non-league game, the host Woodhaven Warriors baseball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Melvindale Cardinals.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Richard (Riverview, MI). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Richard knocked off Jefferson (Monroe, MI), 6-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals play the Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) in a Western Wayne game, on Monday, April 7. Melvindale will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 0-4 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Fordson (Dearborn, MI).
