In Thursday's non-league game, the host Skyline Eagles baseball team scored a close 8-1 win over the Milan Big Reds.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Lincoln was overwhelmed by Canton (Canton, MI), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Big Reds play the Ida Bluestreaks (Ida, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 5. Milan will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
