The Pulaski County Cougars baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Northside Vikings to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cave Spring for a River Ridge test on Friday, April 4. Pulaski County will play a Knights team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Northside drops to 2-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to play the Titans in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Titans go into the test with a record of 2-2. Hidden Valley won 6-3 in their recent league test against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)
