Florida High School Baseball - Union County edges Santa Fe

The Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL) baseball the host Santa Fe Raiders (Alachua, FL), 5-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Fightin' Tigers now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette for a Rural District 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Union County will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Hamilton County (Jasper, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 16-2.

With the defeat, Santa Fe drops to 10-11 on the year. The Raiders travel to Suwannee (Live Oak, FL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 13-6. Suwannee won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Santa Fe (Alachua, FL)
