In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Del Oro Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Vanden Vikings.
The Golden Eagles (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA). The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Davis Sr. lost by Jesuit (Carmichael, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings play the Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, April 7. Vanden will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 league win over River City (West Sacramento, CA).
