In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Canandaigua Academy Braves lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 triumph over the Webster Schroeder Warriors.
The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Spencerport (Spencerport, NY). The Rangers go into the Section 5 Monroe County III contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Spencerport by Victor (Victor, NY), 25-6, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Warriors meet the Pittsford Panthers (Pittsford, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County I contest, on Tuesday, April 8. Webster Schroeder will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 13-10 non-league win over Spencerport (Spencerport, NY).
