Illinois High School Lacrosse - Marist nudges Saint Ignatius College Prep

The Marist RedHawks lacrosse squad scored 7 points and limited the host Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack to 6 in the RedHawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The RedHawks now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carmel for a East Suburban Catholic challenge on Saturday, April 5. Marist will clash with a Corsairs squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Saint Ignatius College Prep falls to 0-3 on the year. The Wolfpack travel to Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to clash with the Scouts in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. The Scouts go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Lake Forest lost 14-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL)
