In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Solon Spartans.
The Stormin' Pointers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record. In their last outing, Jesup North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 1-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Solon will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA).
