Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA) and the host Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA), saw Locust Grove's soccer squad knock off Jackson by a count of 3-0.
The Wildcats (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Newnan tipped Carrollton (Carrollton, GA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Red Devils battle the Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA) in a 2A Region 2 battle, on Monday, April 14. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
