California High School Baseball - Casa Grande holds off Acalanes

The Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) baseball the host Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA), 6-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Gauchos now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. Casa Grande will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-3.

With the defeat, Acalanes drops to 3-5 on the season. The Dons host Benicia (Benicia, CA) to battle the Panthers in a outing on Tuesday, April 8. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 5-5. Benicia lost 13-2 in their recent non-league outing against De La Salle (Concord, CA)
