Virginia High School Baseball - Auburn prevails Rural Retreat

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Auburn Eagles baseball squad scored a good 14-5 triumph over the Rural Retreat Indians.

With the triumph, Auburn moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Grayson County (Independence, VA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Friday, April 4. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 1-4. Grayson County lost 10-9 in their recent non-league contest against Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA)

The Indians now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Narrows for a non-league contest on Monday, April 7. Rural Retreat will confront a Green Waves squad coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 0-3.
