The DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) baseball trounced the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 7-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Stags now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzaga for a challenge on Monday, April 7.
With the defeat, Bishop Ireton drops to 0-2 on the year. The Cardinals host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic lost 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)
