The Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) lacrosse nudged the visiting Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY), 10-9 in Thursday's league outing.
The Firebirds now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ludlowe for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 5.
With the loss, Archbishop Stepinac falls to 1-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT) to face the Cadets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8. The Cadets go into the outing with a record of 1-0. St. Joseph won 19-4 in their recent non-league outing against Weston (Weston, CT)
