In Thursday's non-league test, the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) lacrosse team edged the host Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL), by a count of 12-11.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) in a Central Suburban test, on Tuesday, April 8. Glenbrook North will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Hawks enter the test with a 2-2 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IL).
The Fillies/Broncos (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights enter the Mid Suburban test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Prospect got by Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL), 12-7, in a non-league test.
