Fans at Thursday's league test between the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) and the visiting Westerville South Wildcats (Westerville, OH), witnessed Big Walnut's lacrosse squad hold off Westerville South by a count of 10-9.
The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Westerville Central (Westerville, OH). The Warhawks enter the Region 1 test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Westerville Central was nipped by Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH), 12-4, in a non-league test.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Hilliard Darby Panthers (Hilliard, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 5. Westerville South will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 3-1 record after their 12-5 league win over Lincoln (Gahanna, OH).
