The De Smet Jesuit Spartans lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the host Chaminade Red Devils to 7 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Strake Jesuit for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4.
With the loss, Chaminade falls to 5-4 on the year. The Red devils host Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
