The Mount Vernon Mustangs lacrosse team (Atlanta, GA), was overwhelmed 12-5 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA)
With the victory, Decatur advances its record to 10-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to encounter the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 9-2.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lovett for a 1A Area 7 battle on Tuesday, April 8. Mount Vernon will encounter a Lions team coming off a 15-2 league win over Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA). The Lions record now stands at 10-3.
