In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-5 triumph over the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles.
The Raiders (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against New Providence (New Providence, NJ). The Pioneers go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, New Providence held off Madison (Madison, NJ), 9-8, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Golden Eagles meet the Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 5. Morris Knolls will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 7-6 league loss to Warren Hills Regional (Washington, NJ).
