The Independence held off the visiting Heritage Pride soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the clash with the Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) in a Potomac game, on Tuesday, April 8. Independence will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 4-0 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Park View (Sterling, VA).
The Pride (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Titans come into the Dulles game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Dominion was nipped by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 9-1, in a non-league game.
