The Marian Catholic Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts to 5 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.
The Spartans now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a non-league battle on Friday, April 4. Marian Catholic will confront a Mighty Macs team coming off a 10-3 league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Andrew moves to 5-2 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL) to confront the Titans in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 3-3. Tinley Park lost 7-1 in their recent league bout against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL)
