In Thursday's league test, the Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting West St. Mary Wolfpack (Baldwin, LA), by a tally of 17-0.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Patterson Lumberjacks (Patterson, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 8. Catholic - N.I. will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the test with a 12-6 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA).
The Wolfpack (2-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 1-11 record.
