With the triumph, Galena upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Pirates host East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL) to play the Warriors in a NUIC West game on Tuesday, April 8. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 2-3.

The Indians now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Stillman Valley for a Big Northern game on Monday, April 7. Winnebago will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
