The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) and the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), observed Hicks's softball team prevail over Plainview by a tally of 17-2.

The Pirates (17-5) will now prepare for their bout against Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Tigers go into the B District 4 bout with a 7-13 record.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. Plainview will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
