In Thursday's non-league test, the Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH) softball squad the visiting North Rangers (Eastlake, OH), by a tally of 6-2.

Next, the Falcons meet the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 5. Jefferson Area will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH).

The Rangers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Mayfield for a Western Reserve game on Friday, April 4. North will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
