Illinois High School Softball - Normal Community held off by Tolono Unity

In Thursday's non-league test, the Tolono Unity Rockets (Tolono, IL) softball squad got by the host Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), by a tally of 8-7.

Next, the Rockets meet the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 5. Tolono Unity will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the test with a 6-0 record after their 11-1 league win over Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL).

The Ironmen (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Pekin held off Richwoods (Peoria, IL), 7-2, in a non-league test.
