The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL) and the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), observed Sandwich's softball team get by Reed-Custer by a tally of 5-4.

The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Timberwolves go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Indian Creek was nipped by Oregon (Oregon, IL), 11-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Reed-Custer will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record.
