Alabama High School Softball - Spanish Fort sneaks past Smiths Station

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Spanish Fort Toros softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Smiths Station Panthers.
The Toros (26-6) will now prepare for their match against Baker (Mobile, AL). The Hornets come into the non-league match with a 20-8 record. In their last match, Baker nipped Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL), 7-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Satsuma Gators (Satsuma, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 4. Smiths Station will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Gators come into the match with a 17-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL).
