Ohio High School Baseball - Claymont edges Malvern

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Claymont Mustangs (Uhrichsville, OH) and the host Malvern Hornets (Malvern, OH), observed Claymont's baseball squad overcome Malvern by a final score of 3-1.

With the triumph, Claymont moves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to McKinley (Canton, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 3-0. McKinley won 5-4 in their recent league contest against Perry (Massillon, OH)

The Hornets now possess a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conotton Valley for a Inter Valley North contest on Monday, April 6. Malvern will confront a Rockets team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Toronto (Toronto, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 2-3.
