The Timpview Thunderbirds baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Emery Spartans to 6 in the Thunderbirds non-league win on Friday.

The Thunderbirds now hold a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wasatch for a 5A Region 7 outing on Monday, April 6. Timpview will battle a Wasps squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Lincoln (San Francisco, CA). The Wasps record now stands at 8-4.

The Spartans (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Manti (Manti, UT). The Templars come into the 3A Region 13 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Manti tipped Grand County (Moab, UT), 13-1, in a non-league outing.
