In Friday's non-league game, the host West Branch Warriors baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Streetsboro Rockets.
The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Minerva (Minerva, OH). The Lions enter the Eastern Buckeye game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Minerva defeated Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH), 1-0, in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Rockets confront the Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) in a match, on Monday, April 6. Streetsboro will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Colts come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Woodson (Fairfax, VA).
