The Mentor Cardinals triumphed over the host Riverside Beavers lacrosse team by a tally of 15-8 in Friday's league match.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH) in a Region 2 match, on Tuesday, April 7. Mentor will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 19-8 league loss to Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH).

The Beavers (0-6) will now prepare for their match against Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league match with a 3-1 record.
