The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI) and the host Clarenceville Trojans (Livonia, MI), saw Taylor's softball squad nip Clarenceville by a count of 8-6.
The Griffins now sport a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Edsel Ford for a Downriver match on Monday, May 3.
With the loss, Clarenceville falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 4. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
