Indiana High School Softball - Marion holds off Southwood

Marion Giants (Marion, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN), 11-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Giants now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington North for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 4.
With the loss, Southwood falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Wabash (Wabash, IN) to battle the Apaches in a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, May 3. The Apaches enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Wabash lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Peru (Peru, IN)
