The Springfield Wildcats crushed the host Belmont Bison baseball team by a count of 24-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miamisburg for a Greater Western Ohio bout on Monday, May 2. Springfield will face a Vikings team coming off a 4-3 league win over Springfield (Springfield, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 14-3.
Next, the Bison face the Dunbar Wolverines (Dayton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 2. Belmont will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
