North Carolina High School Baseball - Hoggard wallops Broughton

Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) and the host Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), saw Hoggard's baseball squad knock off Broughton by a count of 10-0.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Hoggard will attempt to move on its 15-4 season record. The Buccaneers enter the battle with a 11-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC).

The Capitals now possess a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they host Athens Drive for a Cap Six 4A battle on Tuesday, May 3. Broughton will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-13.
