The Cabell Midland Knights baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Frederick Douglass Broncos to 3 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights (16-5) will now prepare for their match against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league match with a 8-15 record. In their last match, Johnson Central gained a win over Somerset (Somerset, KY), 7-6, in a non-league match.
The Broncos (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Briar Jumpers go into the non-league bout with a 12-13 record. In their last bout, Somerset was overwhelmed by Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 7-6, in a non-league bout.
