In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 11-4 victory over the Central Rockets.
The Wildcats (15-9) will now prepare for their game against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars go into the Southwest Prairie game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Plainfield South tipped Morris (Morris, IL), 3-0, in a non-league game.
The Rockets (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers go into the Fox Valley - Valley game with a 4-14 record. In their last game, Dundee-Crown was overwhelmed by Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL), 15-2, in a league game.
