The Gateway Regional Gators baseball team (Woodbury Heights, NJ), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Cumberland Colts (Seabrook, NJ)
The Colts now hold a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Triton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 3. Cumberland will face a Mustangs team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Vineland (Vineland, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-11.
Next, the Gators face the West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 3. Gateway Regional will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 2-3 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ).
